After 3 months of rehearsals, the play was a success!

It's Opening Night

Ashlan makes her theatrical debut tonight! Yep, tonight is opening night! The musical runs through the weekend, so if you are interested in coming, the details are below!

NIck's First Lacrosse Goal

NIck had a lacrosse tournament this weekend in McKinney. The first game was against Wylie, where he scored his first goal of the season! Awesome, Nick!!! The goal happened so fast that we only got the action shot leading up to the goal.

Nick has really been dedicating a lot of time to Lacrosse this year and has improved tremendously. Lacrosse is such a great sport because there is lots of action, and it's a great workout for the kids!

Happy Anniversary!

Today marks 7 years since I walked down the aisle to marry the one I fell crazy in love with! I would do it all over in a heartbeat! Brent, you have brought me so much happiness and comfort in these short 7 years. Thank you for being so patient, understanding and loving towards me. Thank you for allowing Nick and Kate to become part of my life and thank you for giving me Ashlan!

I look forward to celebrating many, many more years with you! I can't think of anyone more perfect for me to stand beside, lay next to, hold hands with, raise a family and travel with than YOU!

Trick or Treat

We had a busy but super fun Halloween this year! Kate was a Candy Corn Witch and Ashlan was Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Oh, and Bismark ended up being a pirate!

Nick didn't want to trick or treat until the last minute. He decided to throw on his Lacrosse uniform and take advantage of the free candy. And boy did he and the girls get A LOT of candy!!!!

Halloween Party

One of Ashlan's classmates had a Halloween Party at his house one day after school. I must admit, this party was awesome! Their living room was turned into a haunted house, they had a pumpkin patch, there was a spooky scavenger hunt for the kids, and tons of fun games!

*Ashlan was embarassed to wear her Rudolph costume in front of her peers at the party.....so she opted to wear her Notre Dame Cheerleading uniform.
